About Valley Mission Center Network
The Valley Mission Center Network is a network of Seventh-day Adventist churches serving communities throughout the Yakima Valley. United by a shared mission, we are committed to helping people know Jesus Christ, grow in a personal relationship with Him, and share His love and character through lives of worship, service, and compassion.
Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, searching for a church home, or looking to deepen your walk with God, you’ll find welcoming congregations, practical Bible teaching, meaningful friendships, and opportunities to serve others.
Who Are Seventh-day Adventists?
Seventh-day Adventists are Christians who believe that salvation is found through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and seek to follow its teachings in every area of life.
Our name reflects two important biblical beliefs:
- Seventh-day refers to the Sabbath, the day when Jesus worshipped, observed from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, as a day of worship, rest, and fellowship.
- Adventist expresses our joyful hope in the soon return (Second Advent) of Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that Jesus lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and now ministers on our behalf in heaven. Through His grace, everyone is invited into a life-changing relationship with Him.
Because we believe God cares about every aspect of life, we seek to promote healthy living, strong families, Christian education, compassionate service, and sharing the hope found in Jesus.
